Wedding Presents

A wedding is a momentous occasion, forever cherished by the groom, the bride, and the society to which they are a part of.  It is a celebration of two hearts joined together by matrimony.

A person, who gets an invitation to a wedding though excited, tends to get pressured in trying to look for wedding presents to give and looking for the right outfit to match the occasion.

There are certain things one should consider when selecting wedding presents.  First would be the price.  One would have to look at how much they are willing to spend and give the couple.  There are personalized items one can give which mighst fit a small budget.  These can come in the form of couple shirts with “him” and “her” prints in various colors, or a mug collection with “Mr. ___” and “Mrs.  ____” designs.  Alternatively, one can look for other objects, which can be customized like champagne flutes, calendars, photo frames, wedding plaques, champagne bottles, and many more.

If however, one feels the couple deserve more and has the budget for it, they can go for a variety of experiences the couple can try such as a flight in a hot air balloon for two, a theatrical show with dinner, a day of pampering at a spa or resort, a one-night  stay in a luxurious hotel, or a romantic getaway which can help the couple release stress after the wedding.

One can also give out wedding presents based on what the couple enjoys doing.  If they are the adventurous types, one can give them a tent, a camping stove, or both, so they can enjoy a night or two under the bright stars.  If they are into cooking and food, one can give them a bunch of things for their kitchen.  This could be a bright colored mixer that would really pop out in the kitchen.  Alternatively, it could be an ice cream maker, a meat grinder, and pasta maker.  To make it unique, one can tie in a delicious recipe and a few of the ingredients with it in a basket.  If they are the types that are workaholics, give them a chance to relax by giving them a bunch of comfy pillows similar to what hotels are using.  Probably if they have a large lawn, one can give them a hammock that is big enough for both of them to cuddle in.

If the decision is still so hard to make, then give them money.  This is already acceptable today but don’t give it to them in person.  One can probably insert it in a travel guide to their honeymoon location, or place them in boxes provided specifically for this purpose in the reception.  Couples would still appreciate this, since money is so hard to find and earn nowadays, and they would really need it, since they are still starting their lives together.

Wedding presents might be many but the thought and effort placed in choosing these gifts matter most.
